Chicago State University seeks an outstanding leader to serve as its next Provost and Senior Vice President
of Academic and Student Affairs. The Provost and Senior Vice President serves as the
#2 position in the Chicago State University Administration, serves on the President’s
Executive Leadership Team and serves as the institution’s Chief Academic Officer.
This position reports directly to the president and works in concert with the president,
deans, vice presidents, and the campus community to strengthen the university’s reputation
as an internationally recognized institution of higher education.
The Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs manages reporting line authority for the following areas: the university’s eight academic areas (Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Health Sciences; Honors College; School of Pharmacy, Student Success, and Nontraditional Programs), as well as the Library, Registrar's office, Graduate and Professional Studies, Sponsored Programs, and Student Affairs. We're delighted to announce the leaders and members selected by various departments
at Chicago State University to form the committee. This committee will be responsible
for recommending our next Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic and Student
Affairs to the President. We welcome input from the University community on this matter.
